Gould” company=”NW3″]I did an internet search for quartz worktops and found that many companies were not based in or near London, and many failed to respond to my initial email contacts.. Custom Made Worktops did respond and had a London showroom. I visited this and was shown a wide range of samples, and was able to discuss my requirements in full. Since the worktops were the most expensive single item in the new kitchen I got estimates from companies recommended by friends and by my buider, but the CMW estimate was significantly lower than that of any other company, and their sales representative was the most friendly and helpful of those I met. Despite a long lead time to allow for building work, they held to the original estimates, and produced the worktops very quickly after they were commissioned. Fitting was completely quickly and to a very high standard. I was very impressed that upstands and additional cutouts were included at no additional cost (unlike other companies), and that an intricately shaped deep windowsill was also dealt with within the original quote. I have now asked them to do a glass splashback to go behind my induction hob, and was again quoted a very reasonable price. I am delighted with my worktops, and my builder is so impressed with the value and quality of the work that he will be recommending Custom Made Worktops to his other clients in future.
